The typical situation I see is “if it ain’t broke let’s not fix it”… I think it would be great if that were our reality. However, there are planned maintenance (PM) programs all around us for a reason. The National Air Duct Cleaners Assn (NADCA) has a standard that is accepted internationally, and it states that we should look at our HVAC system, at a minimum of once a year. You know you take for granted the fact that when I click the T-stat on the House will cool down! If you use the “If It Ain’t Broke” idea, you might be unhappy on the hottest days coming up!! So as we approach our long A/C season we should be prepared for the season.
